Your wedding doesn't have to end after the last dance!

One of the most meaningful and luxurious ways to celebrate a micro-wedding is what we call The Wedding Sleepover - a wedding where you and your guests stay overnight at the same property where the celebration takes place.

Instead of a rushed timeline and packed banquet hall with 200 guests you barely get to talk to, imagine this: a cozy, stylish, and unforgettable wedding weekend at a private estate or large rental home, where every detail is curated for comfort, connection, and joy.

What is a Wedding Sleepover?

A Wedding Sleepover is a multi-day, stay-on-site wedding experience. Think of it as a luxurious, grown-up version of a sleepover with all your favorite people - but with incredible food and drink, a comfortable place to sleep for everyone (no sleeping bags here!), and perfectly planned details so everyone is present and relaxed.

Because everyone’s staying in the same place, there’s no need for late-night Ubers, no worrying about driving, and no logistical chaos. Just full-on celebration, deep connection, and space to truly be present.

Let Me Paint You a Picture...

Jesse and Jessie rented a private, modern home built right on the coast of the North Shore. Sea views for days, bedrooms for all 30 guests, cozy communal spaces, a fire pit, a game room, and beautiful outdoor areas for lawn games, lounging, and soaking in the view. Every detail of the weekend was designed to create ease, warmth, and unforgettable moments.

Guests arrived to the beautiful home and were greeted with a cold drink and warm hugs from the soon-to-be-newlyweds. As the guests trickled in and unpacked their belongings in their private rooms, the sounds of oohs and aahs filled the air as Jessie and Jesse showed their loved ones around the property. Soon, the oohs and aahs gave way to laughter and clinking glasses as everyone settled in with excited anticipation about the weekend.

Once everyone arrived and became acquainted with friends old and new, Jesse and Jessie invited the gang into the sprawling indoor/outdoor dining space where a private chef was putting the finishing touches on the first course of a seasonal, four-course dinner with wine pairings for every dish.

Jesse and Jessie thanked everyone for coming, expressing their joy and the warmth they feel in their hearts to have their most important people at such a special celebration. After a spectacular meal while guests are laughing and sipping their after-dinner cocktails, a magician popped in for some surprise entertainment and had everyone laughing and gasping in awe with their tricks. Guests are sure to spend the rest of the weekend wondering "how did he do that?!"

All Weekend Long

The fully stocked kitchen made breakfasts and lunches easy - local pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold brew, mimosa bar, and snacks galore. Late Saturday morning after everyone slept in and woke to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore, guests enjoyed their coffee and breakfast at the many cozy seating areas throughout the property.

At noon, a coach bus arrived at the house to transport the guests into the charming downtown area where they could peruse the local farmers market, picking out fresh baked goods, in-season fruits, and local artisan crafts. Down the street is the local brewery where some guests enjoyed a pint and picked up some tasty crafts to enjoy later. While the guests are having their off-site adventure, Jessie and some of the gals are treated to a hair and make-up treatment at the house to prepare for the wedding that evening. The wedding planner is on-site coordinating all the vendors who are arriving for the biggest event of the weekend. Everyone is laughing and relaxing, while the special touches are set up around them.

The Wedding

A meaningful and intimate ceremony in the backyard with the sun setting over the ocean as a stunning backdrop, followed by a champagne toast. A catered dinner reception with an elegant family-style meal and candlelit tables. The vibe is elevated yet casual. Everyone feels how special this is, but feels relaxed and peaceful at the same time.

Wine glass in hand, guests take advantage of the personalized vendors Jessie and Jesse have brought in. A calligraphy and engraving artist creates personalized gifts guests love. A dry bar team mixed exquisite craft cocktails using the couple’s hand-selected spirits and mixers. A massage therapist offered chair massages in a peaceful corner of the yard overlooking the ocean. A live painter moved throughout the property painting scenes of the celebration, including stunning portraits of guests and the surrounding scenery.

After some dancing and s’mores by the fire pit, no one had to go anywhere. Guests wandered off to their rooms whenever they were ready, glowing and happy.

Sunday Funday

No early checkouts here! The house was booked until Monday. Some early risers joined the newlyweds on the beach for a morning yoga session. Guests gathered in pajamas and robes for a lazy brunch spread and Bloody Mary bar. The massage therapist came back for round two, and an IV concierge service offered hydration boosts for anyone who needed post-party recovery. Guests played board games, napped in hammocks, and swapped stories about the weekend. With the beachfront access directly from the house, Sunday afternoon was spent sun-bathing with a cold drink in hand before a casual cook-out dinner at the house.

Everyone Leaves Happy

What a time! Goodbye hugs and "This was incredible!" comments are exchanged as guests casually depart on Monday morning. The couple even arranged for a professional cleaning crew to come after checkout so that no one had to lift a finger when it was time to leave.

Can we do this every weekend?!

Why Couples Love The Wedding Sleepover

Couples who choose this style of wedding want something that’s low stress, highly personal, more meaningful, and more fun. Rather than a one-night event, The Wedding Sleepover is a full-on experience. One that everyone will be talking about for years to come.

Is a Wedding Sleepover Right For You?

Here’s a good sign that this style of wedding might be perfect for you:

  • You'd rather give an extraordinary experience to your most important people instead of an average experience to everyone you know

  • You want to actually hang out with your guests instead of just doing rounds at the reception

  • The idea of settling for mediocre catering and basic decor in a hotel ballroom so you can accommodate 200 people sounds drab and unoriginal

  • You love the idea of creating memories in a cozy, beautiful space where everyone can be themselves

  • You hate the idea of strict timelines and stressful transitions

  • You want your wedding to have a feeling that you and your guests will remember forever.
